All I can say is, that you are an example of courage. The courage one gets by walking each day in faith, trusting that the Lord directs your path.
You are an example to us all my sister. Some unfamiliar to me, and some so familiar, the are still alive and hurting.
Terry is the best thing that has happened to you. 35 years of blessings, love and trials. Should you cut them out of your life? Those year made you the wonderful woman you are today. Cherish them and never, never forget them.
I was allowed to follow your last days with Terry. They were heartbreaking.
You shall meet in heaven, that's the best consolation and the only thing we can say for sure.

The saying goes, shared joy is double joy and shared pain is half the pain.

I have no wise word to offer. The best one, you found yourself in Psalm 118.

One thing I know for sure though; even if you had known the ending of Terry's life on earth, you sure would have chosen him over again.
Love does hurt, but not loving is even worse.
Can we exchange prayers?
From FelisolFelisol https://www.blogger.com/profile/12240191154632603841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7736178725964366144.post-12055765611408658462012-01-11T17:02:06.216-06:002012-01-11T17:02:06.216-06:00I'm one of those people who never know what to...I'm one of those people who never know what to say to easy the pain of loss. Usually I wind up just saying how much I love them and I pray for them.
My mother's passing was the closest I've come to knowing the pain of loss, and it was very painful. It was totally different from your pain, it was pain from a lifetime of a strained relationship. Now, as years have passed, I can see more clearly, that in heaven all wounds and relationships will be made perfect. What a hope we have! I love you my sister!Pathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03458110831930610293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7736178725964366144.post-74620504570112916902012-01-11T12:25:54.992-06:002012-01-11T12:25:54.992-06:00Another hug .. from a listening ear. I have not experienced the loss of losing my dear, beloved husband. but I tell you...if the Lord called him home before me-I think my very breath would stop. I love him so terribly much....I am so sorry for your loss my heart breaks for you. I can't offer anything that will ease this emptiness other than prayer and a virtual "hug"-a tender, sincere hug. May our Lord wrap His healing arms around your broken heart and bring you peace...praying for you dear sister.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
