My musings about this wonderful existence I lovinly call "my experimental life". I try to follow the direction of the Holy Spirit, but I sometimes end up in a conundrum, wondering how I got there and how I'm gonna get out. So, you will learn of my experiments in getting it right. I hope it is entertaining, inspiring, and, most of all, a witness to the precious mercies of a loving and forgiving Heavenly Father who lets me learn as I go.

Welcome Spring!

We sing "Mighty To Save" in church a lot. Sometimes I think we just sing songs and forget to really focus on their words. I'm playing catch up this week. I went back to work and have been pretty tired.
I was saddened over your having to give up your babies. You know in your heart that it was something you had to do and made the sacrifice. I say I'm not a dog person, but actually I like dogs, it's irresponsible dog owners that I don't like. I loathe being jumped on and scratched and slobbered all over. Having said that, Dave and I have spoken of possibly getting a dog down the road. If we ever did, the "Mutes" are our favorites! Especially after going dog sledding this past January.
I think we underestimate the need our bodies have for rest. Not just physical rest but emotional as well! It's sad that it takes us being brought low for God to get our attention.
have a restful, still, relaxing weekend! Hugs, Connie
