Home Town Swap

Shannon over at The Nut House is hosting a fun new game....Home Town Swap. Click the button above to get all the details.

I learned of this from Denise at The Full Nest. Denise is a new friend and I am so thankful the Lord has brought our paths to cross. Visit her blog, you'll love it and her just much as I already do!

The premise of this activity is that people from differing areas of the country will get to know each other and find out things about places they would like to visit. I am so excited to be a part of it. I hope you will consider it to.

Should you decide to check it out, just click on Shannon's button above and she has all the details on her blog. Also, please mention that you heard about it from me. Thanks! I hope you all have a great week!

Hi Diane...I saw your comment on the Sisterhhood of the Traveling Scarf! I am from Erin, Tennessee...
It is in Houston County, which is in Northwest Tennessee...about 60 miles Northwest of Nashville.
I love it...But I have lived in Michigan most of my life. When Daddy received a medical retirement in 1976, they moved back to Tennessee. I do try to visit several times a year though and always feel a sense of belonging...still!

Good Morning Kiddo!

What a fun thing to do. I wish my hometown was a little more attractive but it is what it is....a hick town just on the other side of nowhere! But I do love my home and my little half acre of land.

Have An Amazing Monday

I am in good ole Mesa, AZ. If you like the heat -- you will like it here. It is not uncommon for Summer temps to reach 115 -- in the shade! Night times we get a little reprieve as the temps drop into the low 100's.

There are about 3 months out of the year where it is wonderful weather. The rest of the time I wonder why I am here :)

hugs for you tonight- I will have to try this some time but right now I am not settled enough - I am holding your sorrow in my prayers and know that I care-
my heart is hurting tonight too and I think that our grief is like the tide- coming hard and going slow- hugs from Meme

I loved those old towns with the Main street and all the stores lined up on either side of it. Now it's Malls and Mall strips. I remember a chili/hotdog window that had the best Chili Dogs I have ever eaten.
